Automated "Aeroexpress" fare payment system

This project was launched in February 2010.  The automated system allows the passengers to buy “Aeroexpress”, which runs from downtown Moscow to the capital’s main airports, train tickets in advance online via the “Aeroexpress” Ltd. website www.aeroexpress.ru. Passengers can buy tickets using different payment modes: Bank cards (Visa, MasterCard), electronic payment system wallets (Yandex.Money, WebMoney), or through subscriber accounts with cellular companies (MOBI.Money payment system).

The pilot project was launched on 19th of November 2010. Thanks to the unique for Russia project, tickets for “Aeroexpress” trains can now be bought using the cell phone, which has built-in NFC functions. The NFC service is being implemented as an add-on to the existing automated “Aeroexpress” ticket sales and control system.

Mobile payment subsystem for the automated fare control system used by St-Petersburg subway

TMobile payment subsystem is designed to enable passengers to remotely charge balance to their contactless travel cards, using pay cards and other sources of internet based electronic payments, as well as using passenger cell phones. The proposed solution is designed to use the existing types of contactless smart cards (CSC) and routines and means of interaction among the equipment (turnstiles), cards and software and hardware of SUE “St-Petersburg Metropolitan”.

 

BREEZE: Contactless fare payment service

The “Breeze” project is an innovative idea of the “Technologiya Processinga”, to introduce the use of contactless fare payment using NFC equipment in the transport company infrastructure.
